Insurances

Included Insurances and level of coverage.

Please be advised that we are not an insurance company and only a certain level of insurance cover can be provided by us, during your move. We acknowledge that moving can be a high risk event and we take all the necessary precautions to minimise damages to property and contents, but it is important to understand your level of coverage, before engaging with us or any business. Please see all relevant information below:

We provide:

  • Full Transit Insurance (to include damages caused during a vehicle accident or overturn only - Up to $100,000 per vehicle)
  • Public Liability Insurance (up to $5 Million per claim)
  • Workers Compensation Insurance

If required, comprehensive contents insurance can be arranged separately, by you, to cover all or some of your items, during the removal process. Cover for accidental damages, is not included in any of the above insurances and remains the responsibility of the client. This is industry standard and whilst many removals business advertise "Fully insured" this is a play on words, requiring further investigation. We are not legally allowed to sell insurance. Only registered insurance companies, or brokers, or those with AFRA accreditation, can sell insurance, over and above that which is included above.

Should you wish to take out additional insurance, note you will be required to give an indication of the collective value of your items and your premium will be calculated base on this.
